20 February: Formula 1 Testing - Bahrain - Day 7 |
The Ferrari team continued testing at the Bahrain track today with both Michael Schumacher and Felipe Massa. Michael Schumacher drove the 248 F1 while Felipe Massa drove the F2004.
Felipe Massa set the fastest time of the day with a 1:30.410. He also covered the most number of laps with 124.
Michael Schumacher had problems with his car and only managed 49 laps.

Weather conditions were sunny and windy with air temperature reaching 20 degrees and track temperatures reaching 30 degrees.
For reference, the best time in 2005 was a 1:29.527 by Mark Webber in the Williams FW27 during Saturday practice.
Ferrari continue testing at the Sakhir circuit tomorrow.
