22 February: Formula 1 Testing - Barcelona - Day 2, Imola - Day 2
Testing continued at Barcelona today with 8 teams present and 14 drivers setting lap times.
Kimi Raikkonen in the McLaren MP4-21 set the fastest time of the day ahead of Giancarlo Fisichella and Fernando Alonso..
Raikkonen's time was a 1:15.233 making it the fastest time set so far in a 2006 specification car. Raikkonen also covered the most number of laps with 96.
There were 9 red flags during the session with the 2 Renaults, the 2 Toyotas, Barrichello, Klien, Coulthard, Albers and Ide all stopping on the track.
Nico Rosberg didn't complete any timed laps due to gearbox problems.
Weather conditions were sunny but cold with air temperature reaching 14 degrees and track temperatures reaching 23 degrees.
