19 January: Formula 1 Testing - Jerez - Day 8 - Valencia - Day 3
Testing continued at Jerez today 3 teams present and 6 drivers setting lap times. Jenson Button in the interim Honda V8 was once again the fastest of the day ahead of Rubens Barrichello and Ralf Schumacher.
Button's time was a 1:18.795. He also covered the most
number of laps with 92.
Toyota had less problems today although Ralf Schumcher had a fuel system problem.
Weather conditions were again cold but sunny. Air temperature reached 16 degrees while track temperatures reached 23 degrees.
Toyota concluded testing this week while Williams and Honda conclude testing tomorrow.

At Valencia, the new BMW Sauber F1 team concluded their private test session. Nick Heidfeld driving the interim C24B set
the fastest time of the day with a 1:12.293. Team-mate Jacques Villeneuve get his first taste of the F1.06 and set a time of 1:12.472.
