14 January: Formula 1 Testing - Jerez - Day 5 - Michelin Wet Test
The 5th day of testing at Jerez saw three Michelin teams run a wet test under artificially watered track conditions.
Pedro de la Rosa set the fastest time ahead of Rubens Barrichello and Christian Klien.
de la Rosa's time was a 1:28.451. de la Rosa also covered the most number of laps with
101 laps.
Weather conditions were mainly sunny interrupted by a shower around midday. Air temperature reached 16 degrees while track temperatures reached 15 degrees.
Testing resumes at Jerez on Tuesday the 17th after a 2 day break with Toyota and McLaren.
