Fiorano track, 2.976 km – short course 1.413 km 3 June: Third and final day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, once again working at two circuits, Monza and Silverstone. At the Italian track, Marc Gene continued with a programme centred on Bridgestone tyre development and aerodynamics for the forthcoming races. The Spanish tester completed a total of 63 laps, the quickest in a time of 1’21”428. At the circuit which hosts the British Grand Prix on 10th July, Rubens Barrichello continued with work begun on Wednesday by Luca Badoer, on finding the best set-up for the F2005. The Brazilian driver covered a total of 73 laps, setting a best time of 1’20”156. At Fiorano, Luca Badoer carried out the shakedown of the three cars that will be used in the forthcoming Canadian Grand Prix. The Italian driver did a total of 27 laps, (ten on the short version of the track,) setting a best time of 59”622.
