May: Once again today, the Fiorano track was the scene of intensive testing. Luca Badoer carried out the shakedown of the
F2005 cars that will be used in the forthcoming European Grand Prix. Badoer covered a total of 37 laps (16 on the short version of
the track,) setting a best time of 58’’173.
Also on track was the 575 GTC, working on a technical development programme
for the next round of the FIA GT championship, that takes place on Sunday 29thMay at Imola’s ‘’Enzo e Dino Ferrari’’
circuit. At the wheel was the Brazilian driver, Jaime Melo. The main focus of the test was the new version of the 12 cylinder
engine, which will be making its debut at this race.
