May: Luca Badoer took to the track at Fiorano for a day of Bridgestone tyre development testing aimed at the forthcoming
rounds of the Formula 1 World Championship. The Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro official test driver covered a total of 79 laps (22 of
them on the short version of the track,) setting a best time of 58”052.
Also running at Fiorano was the 575 GTC, carrying
out a technical development programme for the next round of the FIA GT Championship, which takes place on Sunday 29th May at Imola’s
“Enzo e Dino Ferrari” circuit. At the wheel was the Brazilian driver, Jaime Melo.
