Paul Ricard Test - 11 - 13 May 2005 12 May: Team SAUBER PETRONAS continued its three-day test at the Circuit Paul Ricard today. Jacques Villeneuve covered 114 laps in chassis C24-05 to set a best time of 1:06.644s. He will carry on tomorrow to complete the test. Giampaolo Dall'Ara (Race Engineer): "It was quite a productive day today and we were able to complete the programme. Although we missed the scheduled long-run for the Michelin tyre evaluation our decision for Monaco is quite clear now. We also worked on the car set-up and validated front wing and suspension specifications for the next race. "Tomorrow we will run on a different track layout and focus on a medium downforce as well as Michelin tyre programme in preparation for the Canadian Grand Prix."
