27 April: Formula 1 Testing continues at 3 tracks

Testing continued today at Mugello, Silverstone and Fiorano.
At Mugello, Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello tested for Ferrari while BAR and Minardi joined the test as well. 
Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello continued tyre and aerodynamics testing. Anthony Davidson set the fastest time of the day with a 1:20.652.
The Minardi team had limited running due to mechanical problems in the morning but in the afternoon Albers and Nissany collided losing the team valuable testing time.

At Silverstone, Nico Rosberg son of World Champion Keke Rosberg made his debut as Williams BMW second test driver. The Jordan team was also present with race driver Tiago Monteiro and test driver Nicky Pastorelli present.
Conditions were wet in the morning but the track dried out in the afternoon allowing the teams to do some dry running.
Mark Webber set the fastest time of the day with a time of 1:20.121

At Fiorano, Sauber continued testing with Felipe Massa. The team continued to evaluate a number of components on the car as well as working on setup for the upcoming races. Felipe Massa set a best time of 58.566. Testing continues tomorrow.

Renault, McLaren, Red Bull and Toyota are expected to start testing on Thursday at Jerez
