13 April: Formula 1 Testing - 12 - 15 April

Formula 1 testing continued today with Ferrari testing at two tracks while 6 teams commenced testing at the Paul Ricard high tech track in France. 

McLaren's test driver Pedro de la Rosa set the fastest time of the day with a time of 1:03.481. Giancarlo Fisichella and Franck Montagny were second and third fastest. Most drivers covered over a 100 laps with Enrique Bernoldi testing for BAR covering the most with a massive 182 laps.

Weather conditions were sunny with clear skies. Air temperature reached 16 degrees while track temperature reached 32 degrees.

Testing continues tomorrow. 

At Fiorano, Rubens Barrichello driving the F2005 covered a massive 180 laps with a best time of 57.904. 
At Mugello, Michael Schumacher also driving an F2005 covered 127 laps with a best time of 1:21.534. Test driver Luca Badoer driving the F2004M covered 75 laps with a best time of 1:23.447. Both concentrated on tyre development. Barrichello and Schumacher will swap tracks tomorrow.
