Formula 1 testing resumed this week at the Barcelona track with Ferrari and
Renault commencing their test today while most of the other teams are scheduled to start tomorrow. This is the last test at this
track before the Spanish Grand Prix on the 8th of may so teams are concentrating on setup and tyre testing.

set the fastest time of the day as well as the most number of laps covered. Team-mate Giancarlo Fisichella had engine problems
limiting his running.
Ferrari's test driver Marc Gene was also on track conducting a Bridgestone tyre testing programme in the
F2004M.
Weather conditions were fine with air temperature reaching 20 degrees while track temperature reached 27 degrees.
Testing
continues tomorrow with most of the teams joining the test.
