11 March: Montagny fastest on day 4 of testing at Jerez
On the fourth day of testing at Jerez, Franck Montagny in the Renault was the fastest man on the track setting a time of 1:18.258 ahead of
Anthony Davidson and Enrique Bernoldi.
The track was wet in the morning after heavy rainfall overnight however the track dried quickly early in the afternoon.
Anthony Davidson covered the most number of laps with 105 despite suffering an engine failure in the morning.
Weather was cloudy in the morning then sunny with air temperatures reaching 22 degrees and track temperatures reaching 29 degrees.
McLaren and Toyota didn't test today due to the wet conditions.
Most teams have concluded their testing however wet weather testing was scheduled at this track for the 12th and 13th.
