30 January: Third and final day of testing for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Catalunya
Circuit on the outskirts of Barcelona.
Once again today, Michael Schumacher and Luca Badoer were in action at the Spanish track. The world champion continued with set
up work and development of the F2004 M, while the Scuderia’s official test driver, at the wheel of an F2004, ran through a
technical programme centred on Bridgestone tyres.
Schumacher completed a total of 69 laps, the quickest in a time of 1’15’’970. Badoer did 31, the fastest in 1’15’’470.
The Scuderia resumes testing this coming Wednesday 2nd February at Valencia (Spain) with Rubens Barrichello and Marc Gené
handling driving duties.
