May 26 (GMM) A farcical saga about Kimi Raikkonen's Monaco helmet has taken another twist.
We reported on Saturday that the Finn was ordered to tape over a tribute to his hero James Hunt because it broke some of the sport's commercial protocols. But Reuters news agency reports that Bernie Ecclestone's company, FOM, had a change of heart, perhaps after the direct intervention of the F1 chief executive."You have to ask FOM or Bernie," Raikkonen said on Saturday. "I don't know the story and I have no interest in going to ask them."
