May 23 (GMM) Pat Fry will return to duty for Ferrari this weekend in Monaco.
The great Italian team's British technical director had his appendix removed in a Barcelona hospital less than two weeks ago, forcing him to miss qualifying and the Spanish grand prix.Mathias Bruner, the correspondent for German-language Speed Week, said 49-year-old Fry will also sit out Thursday's practice sessions in Monaco."But on Friday he will be in Monaco," he added, "and in the pits as usual on Saturday and Sunday."
