May 11 (GMM) Paul di Resta will not be at the wheel of a 2010 Force India car when free practice kicks off in Monaco on Thursday morning.
The Scottish 24-year-old has tested during the initial session of practice at every grand prix event this year with the exception of the Bahrain season opener.Regular racers Adrian Sutil and Vitantonio Liuzzi have been alternatively giving up their cockpits for the Mercedes DTM driver.Di Resta will however sit out Monaco, with the Silverstone based team explaining that both Sutil and Liuzzi's track time will be maximised "due to the challenging layout of the circuit that demands the most precise setup of the year".Di Resta will still be trackside as reserve driver.
