Aug.17 (GMM) Christian Horner is concerned that F1's forthcoming rounds at Spa-Francorchamps and Monza could be tough challenges for the 2010 Red Bull car.
The RB6 was utterly dominant on the tight curves of Hungary recently, but the famous Belgian and Italian circuits - featuring long stretches that favour the strongest engines - could not be more different.Germany's Auto Motor und Sport said the Red Bull's advantage is most noticeable at circuits that require high levels of downforce.But at Spa, only moderate aerodynamic grip is required."It is in the twisty second sector that we will have to make up time," team boss Horner said."Down the hill to Eau Rouge, and on the long straight and then back to the finish, we will lose out," added the Briton.After winning in Hungary at the end of a dominant weekend for Red Bull, Mark Webber insisted that the team cannot be complacent about the next races."You get the same amount of points for all of them, but they will provide different challenges for us as a team and technically for the cars," he said.He said the main weakness of the Red Bull package at the lower downforce circuits is the Renault engine."We know we don't have the most powerful engine," Webber said.
