Aug.1 (GMM) Christian Klien could soon get a race at the wheel of the Spanish team HRT's 2010 car.
Since Silverstone, Japanese test driver Sakon Yamamoto has been contesting grands prix for Hispania; first in Bruno Senna's car, and then in the place of Karun Chandhok. It is very likely the 28-year-old's sponsors will pay for another outing at Spa later this month. But even though he wields less pay-driver power, Austrian Klien - HRT's second test driver - is also hopeful."We have always said we have four drivers and we will use all of them," team boss Colin Kolles said in Hungary.Asked specifically about Klien, he said it is "a possibility" he will race in 2010.Klien, 27, told APA news agency: "I am the only driver in the team with experience."Money can of course be very useful, but eventually the team will be in a situation where they say they are better off with an experienced driver in the car," he added.
