After practicing in Heikki Kovalainen's green T127 on Friday morning, the 27-year-old Malaysian apparently told a reporter that team boss Tony Fernandes has hinted that he might be given a chance to race at some point this season.Finn Kovalainen's teammate is fellow grand prix winner Jarno Trulli.A few days ago, Fernandes said he opted to pay Kovalainen and Trulli this year, rather than collect a couple of cheques from pay-drivers."If you want to be serious about this sport then you've got to have the best drivers you can afford and you can get," he said."It's a short term thing to get a cheque," Fernandes added.Meanwhile, Red Bull's reliability woes continue in Malaysia, with Mark Webber abandoning his RB6 in a gravel trap after experiencing a sudden loss of power during second Friday practice.
