Oct.1 (GMM) Amid all the speculation about Toyota's future in F1, the Cologne based team on Thursday announced a supplier agreement for the 2010 season.
It is believed the Toyota Motor Corporation may not approve the team's budget for next year at a November board meeting, but it has nonetheless been confirmed that ZF Sachs will supply dampers and clutches in 2010.Toyota has also signed the 2010-12 Concorde Agreement, and a media statement said the ZF Sachs deal is for next season "and beyond"."Even though we are in the middle of a season, the development and planning for next season has already begun," said team boss Tadashi Yamashina."I am convinced that with the team's hard work and the continuing support from our partners we will be stronger than ever," he added.Elsewhere on Thursday, it had been reported that Yamashina earlier this week confirmed that Toyota will continue to field a F1 team in 2010.
