Oct.2 (GMM) Shortly after Friday's track activities at Suzuka, Timo Glock's manager said the German driver is well enough to return to the wheel of his Toyota on Saturday morning.
Glock, 27, was told by the Toyota doctor on Friday morning that he should stay in the trackside hotel with a high fever and cold. He was replaced by the team's Japanese reserve Kamui Kobayashi.Manager Hans Bernd Kamps has confirmed that Glock's fever, as high as 39 early on Friday morning according to team president John Howett, has now subsided."He already wanted to practice in the afternoon but we decided with the team that he should continue to rest," Kamps is quoted as saying by the German media.He added that it is "very likely" Glock will return to the TF109 on Saturday."I would say he will drive definitely," Kamps added. "The fever has been down now for several hours."Toyota's chief engineer Dieter Gass confirmed: "Timo should be back tomorrow."
