Oct.1 (GMM) Rubens Barrichello on Thursday said he is confident he will extend his record-longest formula one career into 2010.
Although still in this season's title contest, it is expected the veteran Brazilian will part with Brawn at the end of the year. But he told reporters at Suzuka: "I'm in a much better shape than I've ever been in, winning races and being on the top of the paddock's mouth have opened up my chances a lot."It has been reported that Barrichello, 37, recently visited Williams' Grove headquarters, and is favourite to swap seats with the Brawn-bound Nico Rosberg."I wish to be driving next year a competitive car and I think I'll be driving a competitive car. So far, that's all I can say for the time being. It's not done," he said when asked about the Williams rumours."My chances of being in F1 next year? 99.9 per cent, I would say," he added.
