May 21 (GMM) Robert Kubica has bought a world rally car and is rumoured to be considering entering a round of this year's championship.
The 24-year-old's new mount is a Skoda Fabia, formerly raced by the Czech driver Jan Kopecky. Reports say Kubica, a Pole, made the purchase for "private tests and fun".But rumours insist he may be planning a professional outing this year, possibly at the Rally Poland following next month's British grand prix.-Former Super Aguri racer turned BBC commentator Anthony Davidson will contest the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans next month for Aston Martin.
