Jun.4 (GMM) Alex Wurz will be lobbying both FIA officials and Bernie Ecclestone at the Turkish grand prix this weekend.
The Austrian, who began the season as Brawn's reserve driver, is now bidding with his business partner Christian Baha to launch Team Superfund under next year's budget cap rules. But with multiple official entries, including the dissident nine FOTA teams, vying for just 13 spots on the 2010 grid, Baha told Austria's Kurier newspaper that he is serious about succeeding. He revealed that another representative of the foray will accompany Wurz for the Istanbul talks, because "to request (an entry) just once would be too few".To another newspaper, Kleinen Zeitung, 35-year-old Wurz said: "This is no PR gag."Austrian Christian Klien, currently BMW-Sauber's test driver, has been mentioned as a possible driver, but on Thursday he was quoted as playing down the speculation.
