Aug.31 (GMM) Jenson Button was unimpressed with F1's newest rookie after the pair crashed out of the Belgian grand prix.
The Brawn driver's title lead over his teammate Rubens Barrichello and Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel shrank by 2 and 6 points respectively on Sunday, when multiple cars tangled at the Les Combes corner on lap one.The stewards ruled that no penalties should be applied, but rookie Frenchman Romain Grosjean claimed that Button "took me out".When told by reporters about the 23-year-old Renault driver's assessment, Button responded: "I can't believe he's blaming me but, to be fair, I don't really care."It's not really important. I didn't score any points, and that's what's important."Button nonetheless said Grosjean was "100 per cent to blame" for the crash."Maybe he doesn't have enough experience with these brakes or getting these tyres up to temperature," the Briton added."It wasn't even an overtaking manoeuvre. He just hit me. It's really frustrating for everyone, but most aren't fighting for the championship. I am," Button said.Lewis Hamilton also got involved in the melee and agreed that it had been triggered because "Grosjean spun Jenson around".Spanish rookie Jaime Alguersuari hit Hamilton, but he also pointed the finger at Grosjean, who had been "much too aggressive"."If you drive like that, you won't finish the race," the Toro Rosso driver is quoted as saying by Auto Motor und Sport.
