Aug.8 (GMM) Max Mosley has settled his lawsuit with the publisher of Germany's largest newspaper, Bild.
Last July, the FIA president filed a $2.35m case against the publisher Axel Springer AG, who he alleged paid money for the News of the World's video and photos and falsely claimed his sadomasochistic session with prostitutes had a Nazi theme. The Associated Press reports that a spokesman confirmed that Axel Springer has agreed to pay $290,000 to two charities as well as publish an interview with Mosley in Bild. Before suing Bild last year, Mosley was awarded more than $100,000 in damages from Britain's News of the World, the original source of the sex scandal expose, as well as his legal costs in excess of $760,000.
