Aug.27 (GMM) In the high tech world of formula one, Force India team members have reason to feel embarrassed in the Spa-Francorchamps paddock this weekend.
Officially, the reason for their shabby paddock 'motor home' here is that the four days between the Valencia race, and the opening day in Belgium, did not give the team enough time to transport and set up its normal structure. But the rumour at Spa is that, after the police stormed the Nurburgring paddock on behalf of the motor home's disgruntled supplier, Force India didn't want to risk a repeat so close to the German border.Force India's argument was backed up, however, by other rushed goings-on in the paddock on Thursday. At McLaren, workers were still hard at work to bring the Mercedes-powered team's glass paddock structure up to functionality.Red Bull, meanwhile, used a smaller motor home at Valencia last weekend, so that the full 'energy station' could be ready and standing at Spa.
