Aug.27 (GMM) Giancarlo Fisichella on Thursday played down reports he is at the top of the list should Ferrari drop Luca Badoer and look elsewhere for a substitute for Felipe Massa for forthcoming grands prix.
The veteran Roman's manager Enrico Zanarini earlier this week said it would be 36-year-old Fisichella's "dream" to line up for the Maranello team. The Italian, who has contested more than 200 grands prix since 1996, did not disagree but clarified that so far there has been no contact with Ferrari."Ferrari didn't call me so for me it's nothing," Fisichella said at Spa-Francorchamps."If they had called me I could say something more, but I have not contacted them. I'm a Force India driver, it's as simple as that," he insisted.
