Apr.3 (GMM) McLaren sporting director Dave Ryan departed the Sepang circuit with packed bags on Friday, amid speculation he has been dismissed by the Mercedes-powered team.
New Zealander Ryan, a long-serving member of the Woking based squad since the 1970s, was named in the stewards' decision by the FIA on Thursday, with both him and world champion Lewis Hamilton charged with lying about an incident a week ago in Australia.McLaren's communications director Matt Bishop told BBC Sport he could not confirm "anything at the moment", but said team boss Martin Whitmarsh is due to address the media in the FIA press conference at 4pm Malaysian time.
