06 December: Karthikeyan to Test for
the WilliamsF1 Team
The WilliamsF1 Team today confirmed that Narain Karthikeyan will join the
team in Jerez, Spain, this week to assist with its winter testing programme.
The 28 year old from Chennai, India, will join Williams on the first day of
the three ay Jerez test on Wednesday 7 December. Karthikeyan will be behind the
wheel of the Williams FW27C interim chassis and will work alongside Nico Rosberg.
Karthikeyan will test for the team pending the announcement of the team’s
third driver.
The WilliamsF1 Team’s Technical Director, Sam Michael, “Narain will be in
Jerez to help us with normal testing duties. At this stage of development of the
FW27C, we have a series of systems checks and initial set-up investigations to
complete. He will be in the car on Wednesday 7 December.”
