Juan Pablo Montoya returned to testing duties with Team McLaren Mercedes at the Circuit de Catalunya today, alongside Pedro de la Rosa.

The team's programme with two MP4-20B interim cars continued at the Spanish track and there was further progress made. However, there were a number of red flag interruptions during the day from incidents involving other teams. Juan Pablo had a minor off after another car had suffered a problem ahead of him on the track, but avoided causing any damage to his car.

Pedro set the fifth fastest time of the day with a 1m17.447 and Juan Pablo took seventh position on the timesheets 1m17.762. Both Juan Pablo and Pedro completed 145 laps in total, covering over 670kms.

Juan Pablo will be joined in Barcelona by Gary Paffett tomorrow for the final day of the test, with the team moving to Jerez next week.
