With
better weather predicted over the Northamptonshire circuit, the team tested at Silverstone today with Jenson and Takuma in action to
gain some valuable track time before the British Grand Prix next month.
Both drivers spent their early runs working to get a
good balance on the car.
Jenson's programme for today was to run an aerodynamic evaluation. He completed a total of 52 laps in
the morning and 46 laps in the afternoon session, running in chassis 007-02.
Takuma ran through an intensive tyre evaluation
in chassis 007-05, looking at options for the forthcoming races. He completed 94 laps in the morning session and a further 66 laps
in the afternoon to bring his total for the day to an impressive 163 laps.
