Fiorano Test - 26 - 28 April 2005 28 April: Team SAUBER PETRONAS completed its three-day test at the Pista di Fiorano today. Jacques Villeneuve covered 163 laps in chassis C24-05 to set a best time of 0:58.647s. Team SAUBER PETRONAS will be testing again from 11 to 13 May in Le Castellet. Mike Krack (Race Engineer): "Thanks to great weather conditions all three days we were basically able to finish with our scheduled test programme already yesterday. This allowed Jacques to concentrate on in-depth set-up work for most of the day today. In addition to this, he validated some cooling options for the new rear and compared different rims. Overall we can say that we are pleased with the outcome of this test."
