28 April: Mugello Test - Day 2 Jenson Button topped the time sheets on Thursday as Lucky Strike B.A.R Honda concluded its two-day test at Mugello in Italy. Jenson and Enirque Bernoldi took-over from yesterday's pace-setters Anthony Davidson and Takuma Sato driving chassis 007-05 and 007-01 respectively. They began the day's programme in warm and sunny conditions with temperatures reaching 27c. Jenson spent the morning session evaluating the new aerodynamic upgrades for the Spanish Grand Prix alongside a tyre programme. He completed 73 laps. Enrique, meanwhile, ran through some early set-up runs to acclimatise himself with the circuit. He then completed a tyre evaluation for the Spanish Grand Prix tyres. He then completed some longer runs during the afternoon and also carried a short tyre test for other forthcoming races. In total Enrique clocked an impressive total of 151 laps during the day. Jenson completed his full programme in the afternoon session as he continued the evaluation of the aerodynamic upgrade for Barcelona. He completed a total of 123 laps during the day setting not only the fastest time on Thursday but eclipsing Anthony's top time of yesterday.
