19 April: Jordan Grand Prix acquires Brackley Wind Tunnel Facility Subsequent to the purchase of Jordan Grand Prix in January 2005 by the Midland Group, the team is pleased to announce today the acquisition of the Jordan Grand Prix wind tunnel facility in Brackley, UK. This is a capital asset for the future of Jordan Grand Prix and the team is intending to invest heavily in the facility and upgrade it from 40 to 50% model scale. Jordan Grand Prix Team Principal and Managing Director, Colin Kolles, said: “The acquisition of the wind tunnel facility in Brackley is definitely the right way to go for our team and this will help us make a big step forward. Moreover, we will also be continuing the technical collaboration with Dallara to have a better car in 2006.” Trevor Carlin, Sporting Director, added: “We are very pleased that the purchase of the wind tunnel has now gone through.
