8 February: Jerez Test - Day 1 The first day of Lucky Strike B.A.R Honda's proposed five-day test in Jerez began on Tuesday morning with Takuma Sato in chassis 007-02 and Anthony Davidson in chassis 007-01. However, due to a damp circuit, very little running was achieved during the morning with only installation runs completed. Anthony and Takuma also completed limited mileage during the afternoon session. Takuma suffered a rear wing failure on the approach to turn one which caused him to spin off into the tyre barriers. He was unhurt but the car sustained substantial damage which therefore ended his programme for the day. Nelson Piquet Junior also ran with the team today. The reigning British F3 Champion completed a total of 41 laps during the afternoon session, setting a best time of a 1m 20.85s. He had a small incident when he spun off braking into the final corner which caused sufficient damage to the car to bring an early end to his running. Jerez test times - Tuesday
