3 February: Valencia Test - Day 2 Jenson Button joined the test on Thursday morning for the second day of Lucky Strike B.A.R Honda's current programme in Valencia - taking over chassis 007-01 from Anthony Davidson who had driven it on Wednesday. Jenson spent the morning session trying out various chassis set-up options, completing 61 laps. Meanwhile, in chassis 007-02, Takuma Sato had a good morning completing 87 laps on various long runs on the tyres he scrubbed in yesterday. In the afternoon session Takuma continued his planned tyre evaluation supplying some very useful tyre data. He completed 144 laps setting the fifth fastest time of the day - a 1m 10.477s. Jenson spent the afternoon continuing to evaluate different chassis set-ups. He completed 109 laps in total. On Friday, Jenson will take over from Takuma in chassis 070-02 with Enrique Bernoldi driving chassis 007-01. In the Young Driver Programme, which is running alongside the 007 preparations, Adam Carroll had his first drive of the test on Thursday morning in chassis 006-06 completing 47 laps. James Rossiter took over the car for his second run in the afternoon session and acquitted himself well setting some encouraging lap times. Alan van der Merwe will drive on Friday morning, followed by Carroll in the afternoon session. All drivers are in 2005 cars with the exception of Alexander Wurz, Jarno Trulli, Carroll and Rossiter.
