Barcelona Test - 28 - 30 January 2005 28 January: Team SAUBER PETRONAS started its three-day test at the Circuit de Catalunya today. Felipe Massa covered 93 laps in chassis C24-01 with a best time of 1:17.488s. He will continue tomorrow before Jacques Villeneuve will take over to complete the test on Sunday. Mike Krack (Race Engineer): "Because of the very low temperatures we couldn't cover many laps in the morning and were forced to wait until the weather and track conditions got better by noon. For this reason we were not able to run our programme as previously scheduled. We also found it difficult to achieve the right car balance today and therefore we will focus on more set-up work tomorrow to improve it."
