    Honda NSR500 (Eddie Lawson MotoGP 1989) in Blue and White (1:12 scale) - Eddie Lawson (born 11th of March 1958 in San Antonio, Texas) is a former US-American motorbike race driver. Lawson won the American Super bike Championship in 1981 and 1982. With Yamaha he achieved the World Championship in the 500cm³ series in 1984, 1986 and 1988. For the 1989 season he moved to the Rothmans Honda-Team owned by Erv Kanemoto and ended up winning his forth World Championship title in the premier class in the same year. With this remarkable performance “Steady Eddie” has become one of the most successful race drivers of all time. In total the US-American was victorious in 31 races. In 1999 Eddie Lawson became a member of the Hall Of Fame of the World Motorbike Association (FIM).
